About Evans Dance School
Husband and wife duo, Stephen and Hazel, started their dance partnership in 1970 and, after winning many championship trophies as amateurs, turned professional in 1977.
After teaching in London for 6 years, they opened their school in Harlow, Essex. They teach all grades (including medal classes), provide lectures and run monthly social dances and dance holidays. We boast with students from all around our vicinity, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshi re etc.
They now have 5 professional teachers and 2 student teachers and they like to think their enthusiasm for dance comes out in all the activities they get involved with.
